(Building node) is integrated with the OpenBuildings™ Designer Floor Manager utility. Its default technique, FromExistingBuilding allows you to select from the Building definitions you create in Floor Manager.

1. Add a Building node to the Graph. The default FromExistingBuilding technique is active.
2. Click next to the BuildingName port. The expression field becomes a drop menu listing Building definitions existing in your active project. Select an existing building (Bldg 1).

Conversely using the CreateNewBuilding technique creates new Building definitions in Floor Manager.

1. Add a Building node to the Graph and select the CreateNewBuilding technique. Its required input ports are visible on the node.
2. Click next to the CatalogItem port. The expression field becomes a drop menu listing DataGroup building catalog items. Select an existing building catalog item (Default).
3. Click next to the BaseElevation port. Enter a base elevation value. This value is used for the building definition in Floor Manager.
4. Click next to the ArchBuilding_BuildingName port. Enter a name for the new building (New Building).
